Age Manager training - keep the kids on the beach

Putting it simply, the Nippers program does not exist without the support and participation of the parents. Being an Age Manager is a great way to become more involved in the club and support your childs development through the program. The Age Manager team is currently in short supply and we need more parents to help out with your kids on the beach this summer.

Edithvale patol team put to the test

The patrol team for Sunday 24th Jan were certainly put to the test with a major first aid incident and annual patrol inspection by LSV all in the one afternoon.
The team were called to action with a member of the public experiencing severe chestpains. Training to be a qualified lifesaver involves extensive first aid, resuscitation and defib training all of which were called upon in preparation to assist the patient until an Ambulance arrived...

Nippers back to the beach

A reminder that nippers recommenced 31 January. The reason for the late start was that many members were still on holidays.

Chelsea Lifesaving Club Junior Carnival

Saturday 6th Feb 9am - 1pm (must arrive at 8.30)
Under 7 age group and over (with current S Badge) .
What to bring: club cap and bathers,rash vest, towel, sunscreen, water, snacks.
Cost: $5 (ELSC will subsidise a further $5)
