When: Saturday 10th February 2024
Where: Race begins at Edithvale LSC and ends at Aspendale LSC
Race Details: Race is a 1.8km Open water swim
Age Categories: 70+, 60-69, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 18-29, 12-17
Medals are awarded to the first three places both male and female in all age categories.
The overall fastest female and male swimmers on the day will also be awarded a prize.

Pre race registration and bag drop at Aspendale LSC
Registrations close at 7pm the Friday prior to the event.
Timing band and T-shirt collections will be open between 7:30am-9am on Race day at Aspendale LSC.
Preferred collection times are as follows:
7:30am-8:00am: 50-59, 60-69 & 70+
8:00am-8:30am: 30-39 & 40-49
8.30am-9.00am: 12-17 & 18-29
Aspendale LSC will have bag storage for all personal belongings while you enjoy this wonderful swim.
Swimmers are required once ready for the race to make their own way to Edithvale LSC for the 9am compulsory swimmers safety briefing.
The race will begin at Edithvale LSC and finish at Aspendale LSC.
Wave times begin at 9:20am with each group thereafter starting at 10 min intervals.
9:20am - 70+, 60-69
9:30am - 50-59
9:40am - 40-49
9:50am - 30-39
10:00am - 18-29
10:10am - 12-17
Please note all efforts will be made to maintain these start times as best as possible, however they may be subject to change at short notice.
After the race concludes at Aspendale LSC the presentations will be held and a sausage for all swimmers will be provided.
